About This Course

The Springpferde Akademie weekend jumping clinic is the perfect intensive introduction to show jumping for beginners and intermediate riders. Held over two full days, the clinic covers everything from basic jumping position and approach to grid work, gymnastic exercises, and full course riding.

Day one focuses on foundations: flatwork for jumping, pole work, grids, and single fences up to 60cm. Day two builds on this with related distances, combinations, and a mini course at 70–80cm. Riders can bring their own horses or hire one of our well-schooled jumping horses.

All participants receive a certificate of participation and a personalised feedback sheet from Thomas. The clinic is capped at 8 riders to ensure quality coaching time for everyone.

Thomas Bauer is a nationally certified jumping coach with 15 years of experience developing riders from grassroots to national level. He has produced multiple young riders who have gone on to compete at German national championships. Thomas is known for his patient, encouraging approach with beginners and his technical precision when coaching more experienced riders. He holds a DOSB B-Trainer licence and is a registered coach with the German Equestrian Federation.
